no :) . Circulism it's a technique of shading by making small circles [link]
this technique makes the shading very smooth and is good for portraits

Your light tones are very smooth, do you use blending stump or anything? If so, what is it? :)

oh my where do i start..? I used Faber Castell HB - B6 for the Darker, H - H6 for the lighter areas, A kneaded eraser, 0.7 mechanical pencils on 18"x24" Strathmore Sketching paper and I didn't really keep track of time but It took a lot of weekends and nights after work so I'm fairly happy with the outcome of this one! :D There are 18 spokes all the way around believe me I really checked! I hope to have more similar in contrast next to this one! :)

Nice I should move up from 11 x 14, takes longer but I'm sure it's worth it.

Man, stuff like that would probably help a lot. I've always done it just by "eye balling" it, and most of the time one thing or another looks a little funky. Where can you buy this sort of thing?

nvm, i dont know what I was thinking. You probably just drew light grid lines when you were doing the car's outline, duh, haha.
