Nissan 350 Z by industrialrevelation Nissan 350 Z by industrialrevelation
I've finished this Nissan 350 Z for a client that I work with on an 18" x 24" Sketch Book Paper using H4 H5 H6 H HB B F B2 B3 B4 B6 B8 graphite pencils and a kneaded eraser... I don't know how long but I can actually say somewhere within a week. The lights and Wheels are the most work.

I don't know why Nissan bothered to make the 370z, it looks terrible. The 350z is much better.
Your drawing looks great.

Wow the shading on the body is so smooth, amazing. And your proportions are perfect, some of the older stuff in you gallery they look a little off. (idk if its camera angle when photographing the drawing) either way huge improvement. And way above my skill level.

haha thanks... I think it's because I improved when I went to school but yes the camera I used sucked as a kid.. also the pictures weren't 18x24 either

WOW!! Those headlights: just like a photo, very well done. I love this one! ;) I'm still amazed what you can do with just a pencil and a sheet of paper. :D If I had more time, I would draw every day, now it's just once a week.. :( But you have done this very well, I also like the detail of the interior of the car.

Cool!
I like the composition with the car filling the picture plane at an interesting “in your face” angle.
Your proportions are spot on, and you did a fine job on the foreshortening. You did a really good job of capturing the lines and character of the 350 Z.
You have a beautiful range of values here with plenty of contrast. And solid technique in the use of value changes to show the planes and contours of the body.
It's a sterling piece of work!
